Our First 4×2 UTV
As we continue to build our fleet, we’ve just taken delivery of our first electric two-wheel drive (4×2) UTV, The Runner! Available for purchase and hire, The Runner is best described as a golf buggy on steroids. Featuring both the power of a UTV but in a smaller, lighter body.
Adding The Runner to the Electric Wheels’ fleet means we now offer our customers a choice of ten vehicles ranging from £11,250 to £26,000 with something suited for every task. Each vehicle has been carefully selected based on demand and feedback from our customers.

The Runner, the Uprated Electric 4×2 UTV
The Runner has been designed with both grounds’ maintenance and transportation in mind, keeping you powered and moving all day over intermediate terrain.
The uprated 4×2 UTV, has been specially modified. Both the suspension and the fixed rear bed have been engineered to increase load capacity. Also, rather than the traditional lead-acid battery, The Runner is fitted with a 48v lithium-ion battery. Lithium-ion batteries are maintenance free and provide high-performance power which can save money, increase reliability, and conserve energy to improve overall efficiency of operations.
We also opted for intermediate tyres which means that the vehicle retains impressive off-road ability without damaging sensitive turf areas, making the 4×2 perfect for golf courses and grounds maintenance, festivals and events, as well as outdoors catering and leisure parks.
